Mood: Kinda sleepy, yet a little chatty

So I was on a 2-day standby duty but was called up for a Denpasar turn yesterday that lasted till after midnight of today, which means it's kinda an off day for me today- which is obviously AWESOME.

Never been this lucky for a very long time. The last time I was on standby, they woke me up from my deep sleep with 2 hours to prepare before reporting- for the earliest Jakarta turn. But I remember thinking "it could be worse".

Super thankful for today though. I really needed to just stay in one place and do absolutely nothing.

I'm really excited for tomorrow! Meeting Luke again. I love how he gives me a reason to have something to look forward to. My bestest friend in the world. My life would be so dull without him.

It's perfect how he works shifts and my working hours are irregular too, so somehow, most times, it complements each other and I get to see him a lot, at weird timings, but it's absolutely perfect. I love weekdays- lesser crowds, more freedom to do anything we want to.

I'm still sore from our trampoline date the other day, it's definitely a work out. But I love it. I'm still diligent in my running sessions but it does get a little boring after a while so I needed to switch things up a little. Love love love it though. I need a trampoline in my life.

We're planning to get active again for tomorrow's date, but we'll see how it goes.

Till then, guys.

  1. Hi there Ashhy! Could I ask how they conducted the colour test in the SIA interview for cabin crew? I have colour deficiency and I'm scared it would affect my chances :( thank you in advance!!

    1. Hi there! During my interview, no colour test was done but they do change things up at times so you may wanna try to research online and see what others have experienced. I wish you all the best though!☺️

    2. Oh I see! Is it possible for you to share what they checked during your medical? I read online & many said they had to go through colour blindness test during it but I just wanted another opinion/experience :) if it is against company protocol then it's okay! Wouldn't want you to get into trouble. :) and thank you for the wish, appreciate it so much!

    3. Oh yes now that I think about it, they did check on eyesight and colour blindness during the medical check up. I just recalled it. They basically check everything regarding your health during the medics check up. I'm not sure how it might affect your chances but I do hope you'll just give it a try anyway, that way then you'll know for sure :)

    1. Don't envy!!! I'm positive anyone can achieve all these too, if not more!

Anyway the speedy was S$1.3k and the Chanel wallet was about S$1.1k (if I remember correctly) after tax refund :)

    1. I know that for 2015, there was a total of 40+ batches so I'm pretty sure for 2016 they will take in more batches considering the fact that SQ bought a number of the new A350 fleet recently. But then again, that's just my assumption, we shall see :)
