I think the best stage about getting over an emotional period of your life is knowing and feeling that things will get better.
I think what we forget or ignore the most is that there's no way else to go than up when you've hit rock bottom. We tend to ignore the fact that we will, someday, feel okay again.
I think it's important to appreciate the great days, and embracing even the bad of days. It reminds you that you're human.
Life will always surprise you.
People tend to want nothing more than happiness but how would you know if you're happy if you haven't experienced sadness? How do you know if you're at a better place now if you haven't been in the lowest point of your life before? Like yin and yang, these two things go hand in hand.
I think about days I feel on top of the world on days I feel low. And it made me appreciate those moments more than ever. I think we all know this is how life works but we can't control our brains and hearts for feeling what its feeling.
How good would it be if there was a control button?
How boring would it be, too?
