Floral crown Photoshoot

So this was one of the most memorable days of my life! It's the day I set aside JUST to take really nice photographs of how my floral crowns look like when worn. And of course, the floral crowns featured here are for my second collection! First one being the first 10 floral crowns I started out with, on my personal Instagram. In case y'all are wondering where you can view pictures of the floral crowns I've made for sale so far, you may search @flowersforsale on Instagram!

Luke, being the sweetheart that he is, offered to drive AND be my photographer. He's always been so involved in my daily life, it's impossible to think how I'd live without him. One of the few people who has been there through it all with me, from the start of the little business till now. The person who has been giving moral support and EVERY kind of support throughout. My personal cheerleader, my best friend and truly my everything.

When we arrived at our destination, the weather wasn't looking that well. It started drizzling so we waited in the car for it to stop but it didn't. So we ended up having a change of plans and had some lunch at the nearby mall instead. I was kinda disappointed but at the same time, I'm like, it's okay. If it's really not fated for us to have the photoshoot today then maybe next time. I was just being super positive about it because I knew that if the photoshoot isn't happening, at least I'll still have a good time with Luke. Nothing much to complain about really.

So while waiting for the rain to stop, we had lunch and took a stroll around the ULTRA boring shopping mall. Boring until.................WE SAW DAISO!

Daiso seriously deserves some kind of award for being the best place to kill time. We spent like around AN HOUR just looking around. I started taking random stuff and putting them in our little basket while Luke was searching for the Electronics section because he wanted to find a phone holder. THE DAISO OVER THERE WAS HUMONGOUS. It's ridiculous. And lovely, at the same time. It became like a playground for us, we're just fooling around, laughing at everything random. I felt like a child every time I'm in Daiso because there's too many things that are floral and polka-dotted that I just dragged Luke everywhere just because I'm too excited. But we didn't buy anything in the end. HAHA

It was still drizzling outside and Luke said we should just go for it if it isn't too bad. So we headed over the the park again and this time, we ignored the rain and just went for it.

Verdict: BEST DECISION EVER.

Well, the blue clouds were far from sight but at least we managed to get really beautiful pictures out of it. I'm seriously impressed by Luke's photography skills, it's AMAZING. He's the only person who can make me feel so comfortable despite being in an awkward situation (standing around a little corner in a park with heels and floral crowns on isn't very normal to some, isn't it?) and make me look good in pictures! Usually when people take pictures of me, there's always something wrong about those pictures and I look terrible. But for some reason, Luke totally knows how I want a picture to be. Genius, I tell you. The only one who can read me like a book.

It was a lot of fun to do the shoot but both Luke and I were dead tired after. So we sat at the steps facing the sea to play with Blue and just talk. I like having moments like these. Just having deep conversations with him as the sun goes down, having someone to share my joy with, y'know. These things are priceless yet so valuable. I'm just so thankful to have him, I can't say that enough.

And here's my cover of 'Thinking 'bout you' by Frank Ocean. And did you know that iPhone camera is HD quality? I didn't know until today!
